Spectral analyses were made to obtain L*, a*, b* color using D65 2degree and C 10degree surface reflection measurements. While color matching is computationally correct slight color variation will occur through wax application surface texture and other factors.

Ceramic additives to resin matrices will reduce the time of flight, increase internal diffusion and enhance variations in light reflection profiles. D* ( or Delta L* ) is added to the #HEX color profile description to show a L* dark shift where appropriate.
